The Tetsim model is a tool for tobacco control advocates and government officials considering the impact of a change in tobacco excise taxes on a number of variables, including excise tax revenues and cigarette consumption. By changing some of the input parameters, you can see how this affects the output values.
You can access the application for free by clicking here, or though our well-stocked public resources page (where you can find more useful resources relating to tobacco taxation and illicit trade)! A research paper explaining the model is also available on our public resources page.
Please note that you will need to install Adode Flash player to launch the Tetsim application on your computer.
