The Finnish National Tobacco and Health Day has already become a traditional event, and on 29 November the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) will host the participants of the event for the 7th time. The key topic of the Day is nicotine-free future, practical implications of the new Tobacco Law and Substance Abuse Prevention Law, and how to implement smoke-free policies at municipal level. The Conference will also discuss up-to-date tobacco-related research data. Information from the WHO FCTC COP7 will be delivered to the audience, including a message regarding the WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub network. The audience will be represented by professionals and students, researchers, and decision-makers.
