The Knowledge Hub on Surveillance participated the COP 8 lunch seminar at the eighth session of the eight Conference of the Parties organized in Geneva 1.-6.10.2018.
A side-event to discuss Article 20 of the WHO FCTC was organised on 4 October. The theme of the side-event was the exchange of experiences among the Parties on progress regarding Article 20. The focus was on sharing experiences on research, monitoring and information exchange, in the context of scientific technical cooperation and communication.
The side-event was co-organized by Panama, Brazil and El Salvador.
The lunch session featured five presentations by the following speakers:
