On 24-26 May 2017, ENSP (European Network for Smoking and Tobacco Prevention) held its 2nd Annual International Conference on Tobacco Control in Athens, Greece, which gathered around 300 participants and presented more than 100 scientific abstracts.
The conference hosted interventions by international experts in tobacco control throughout a number of plenary and parallel sessions, symposia, workshops and project meetings. The addressed topics included tobacco control and global development goals.
The National Institute for Health and Welfare (Finland) was invited by the organizer to present on the Work and Function of the WHO-FCTC Knowledge Hub on Surveillance in a session ‘NGOs and Regional Health Promotion’ held on 25 May 2017.
