Senegal: the Ministerial Council supports ratification of the Protocol

At its meeting on 17 February 2016, the Ministerial Council adopted the draft law that will authorise the President to ratify the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products.

This move corresponds to the country’s commitment towards the ratification of the Protocol expressed during the “Multi-country meeting on illicit trade”, held in Dakar, Senegal, from 18 to 20 November 2015. The draft law now awaits to be passed to the National Assembly for their consideration.
